Co-Curriculum Activities

KKCS conducts many on-and off-campus programmes apart from curriculum based activities, like one night camps, excursions and trips, and inter-class, inter-house and intra-school competitions. Students are encouraged to develop their leadership skills through a ‘Student Council’ that is governed by a prefect body.

To encourage and enthuse students, interactive sessions are conducted with invited experts and famous artists, scientists, sportsmen, and thinkers throughout the year. Normally the first two periods in classes I to X are devoted to a multitude of activities on every Saturday. These activities are immensely wide in their range and vary from artistic pursuits to scholarly exercises. These are planned ahead of each academic year and are divided into the brackets of classes I to III, classes IV and V, classes VI to VIII and classes IX and X.

As per academic calendar every year sports week is held and various inter-class, inter house and inter alia competitions are held for various games/sports activities. Winners are honoured with prizes and certification at the annual function.

Annual day is celebrated biannually on a pre-decided date. Annual report is presented on this day for the previous academic year besides cultural activities and prize distribution function.

The school authorities intend to make the students exposed to the outside world also besides studies therefore encourage them to celebrate all important National and International days such as World Health Day, Hindi Day, Indian Army Day, Environment Day, Mother’s Day, Earth Day, No Tobacco Day, Father’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Children Day, Science Day, World Women Day, World Water Day, etc.
